Most DataStage courses in the marketplace teach you the features of the tool. While this is good, students often struggle to code ETL jobs because they are unable to relate and apply the learning to a real project in the workplace.
We have changed the norm. This is the first course in the marketplace that will deliver task-based training. i.e. The course has been designed to teach you to write a job as you would in the real world. At the end of the training you would know the sequence of activities that you would have to follow to deliver an ETL Project.
The online courses are taught by a live instructor on a specific day and time. These courses are the same as their classroom counterparts in terms of content and duration. You will receive the link to the Virtual Classroom and course materials 48 hours in advance. On the day of the training you can attend by clicking on the link. Please read the Hardware/Software requirements section for pre-requisites. Enter your registration details and you will be directed to the virtual classroom where a Live Instructor will give you a warm welcome. You can interact with the Instructor and classmates, just as you would in a physical classroom.
The course has been divided into theory and lab exercises. You will have the opportunity to raise your hands to ask questions and chat with your fellow classmates. If you have trouble performing an exercise, the instructor will connect to your desktop to guide you through the exercise, making this a true learning experience.

- A confirmation email is sent with Registration details and link to the virtual classroom
- The course material is sent via email 48 hours before the class
